Home Improvement
As a self-proclaimed creative type, I draw inspiration from my surroundings and tend not to mind when things are 'out of place.' Actually, I am comforted. Not my best quality if you were to ask The Banker.
As much as my mind is liberated by haphazard organization, living in a 1,000 square foot apartment with our toddler makes organization imperative. I'm comfortable admitting now that our closets were atrocious.
The Banker and I recently spent our date day at The Container Store, which admittedly is a far cry from the romantic sangria-drenched dates of our pre-baby lives. A date to the Container Store is nothing to write home about; but being able to consistently find my eye cream is the stuff dreams are made of.
While I was at it, I decided to add a unique touch to some old and very common Ikea furniture. With some creativity and a few extra bucks, I went to Anthro and upgraded the knobs of out makeshift entertainment stand to something more colorful and chic.

I have always fantasized about doing this with the beautiful knobs at Anthro! I love this upgrade to your entertainment center. It looks like Harlowe approves, too! Hopefully I will get around to doing this one day!

Love all your 'after' shots. Makes me want to go finally organize my pile of makeup on my bedroom floor :) BTW, your little Harlowe is adorable.
