The cutest little Easter ever

I hope you had a wonderful weekend and a Happy Easter (if you observe it)! We had friends over for a lovely mimosa brunch and haphazard Easter egg hunt. Avery, my friend Lindsay's daughter, along with Harlowe, my wild animal, spent about 14 minutes looking at each other and occasionally shaking plastic eggs filled with Cheerios.

Once they sized each other up, a fiercely competitive egg hunt was underway. Unsurprisingly, Avery dominated and found all but one egg before Harlowe realized it was safe to touch plants, grass, etc.  (New New Year's Resolution: Take Harlowe camping; eliminate Harlowe's fear of plants.)
